Welcome to Together For Youth!

Together For Youth is a Social And Support Group For Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Teenagers and For Those Questioning Their Sexual Orientation.

• Youth 65 youth (42 girls, 21 boys, 2 transgender) attended group in 2009, with an average of 8 each week. Participants included teenagers from Two Harbors, Hermantown, Proctor, Cloquet, Fond du Lac Reservation, Grand Marais, and Brainerd, as well as all parts of Duluth.
• Outreach In 2009 two staff and 12 youth spoke on sexual orientation and human rights, addressing 1120 individuals in 27 different venues in five cities. Together For Youth is a member of the Twin Ports GLBTQ Safer Schools Task Force.
• Volunteers 20 adults were guest speakers at group in 2009. Others gave cash, books, clothes, food, help with transportation, and performed music at a party for the youth. We had a community fundraiser at the Unitarian Church in May, with the help of 40 volunteers. In October, the Duluth Playhouse put on a reading of Laramie 10 Years Later, and donated proceeds to Together.
